Williams serves at KSN as a Weekday Morning Meteorologist. His forecasts appear from 4:30 am to 7 am. He has been passionate about Meteorology since he was in the early years of grade school. He used to watch the forecast from the local Meteorologist, as well as collect newspaper clippings of severe weather events across the nation. Williams also loved being in the library or watching storm chaser VHS tapes.
Before joining KSN, he worked for KCTV/KSMO-TV in Fairway, Kansas as a Meteorologist and news reporter for 2 years. Before that, he served at KQTV in St. Joseph, Missouri as a Meteorologist/Reporter for 2 years and 3 months. That is where he began his meteorology career.
Williams has also worked as an Apprentice at WROC-TV in Rochester, New York for 3 months. Additionally, he has worked for Foot’s Forecast as a Forecaster for 8 months. Outside meteorology, Williams has worked as a Sales Associate at Wal-Mart for 7 years and 5 months (July 2007 – November 2014).
Williams holds the American Meteorological Society’s Certified Broadcast Meteorologist designation, which he received in the year 2016. During his leisure time, he likes trying out different restaurants and diners that the area has to offer (he is a foodie!).
