Jones is a proud 2020 alumnus of Point Park University, where he obtained a degree in Broadcast Journalism. During his stint at the university, he served as a host of “UView,” a student-run show. He has recently served at CBS Pittsburgh – KDKA as a news anchor. He began as a freelance reporter at the station. While in college, Jones interned at KDKA-TV for 1 year and 3 months (May 2017 – July 2018).
Over the years at KDAK, Jones reported on a wide range of stories, from strange events and human interest to breaking and crime news stories. He says that he is always ready to take on any challenge that comes his way. One of his favorite stories was when he assisted 4 dogs that were fleeing Hurricane Florence to find new homes. This coverage led to the adoption of these dogs to a local animal shelter.

Jones has worked as a Multimedia Journalist for Nexstar Media Group, Inc.’s WTRF-TV in Wheeling, West Virginia for nearly one and a half years (August 2018 – December 2019).
