While there, she reported on various stories such as the December 15, 2021 tornados and storms that wiped through northern Iowa and southern Minnesota; George Floyd’s death, and the distribution of the 1st coronavirus vaccines by Mayo Clinic.
While in college, she worked as an intern at WESH2 News in Orlando, Florida, where she covered her 1st rocket launch, as well as the 50th Anniversary of the moon landing. Also, she was working as a Twin Cities Live intern at Hubbard Broadcasting, Inc. in St Paul, Minnesota. Additionally, she served at TPT – Twin Cities PBS as a Mentee and Production Volunteer.
Boring likes to meet new people every day and is thrilled to tell and share the stories of those in her home state. During her leisure time, she likes to shop, spend time with her golden retriever named Schroeder, explore Wichita, or skate using a rollerblade.
