In 2020, she played a recurring role as Carol in the Amazon Prime Video series The Benza and Benza English, and she voiced Carol in the video game adaptation The Benza RPG.

Shizuka co-hosted Tokyo Extra, a live program on TBS and YouTube, alongside Marty Friedman. She also appeared on NHK World, reporting for Journeys in Japan and hosting J-Flicks. Under her middle name, Rachel, she co-hosted the educational NHK Radio 2 program Kōkōkōza Communication Eigo II.
