She attended The University of Georgia and served as a journalist for UGA’s online and broadcast news serving Northeast Georgia, Grady Newsource prior to interning at WAGA-TV in Atlanta, Georgia. Furthermore, she has also worked for UGA’s travel journalism study abroad program in Munich, Germany where she served as a graduate teaching assistant.
In addition, she taught middle and high school in Nashville, Tennessee. Additionally, she is passionate about public education and is excited to learn more about the schools and community in Tyler.
