Between March 2013 and 2015, Chowdhry served KYW | CBS-3 Philly as a weekday general assignment reporter. While there, she covered various breaking news stories and contributed to continuing coverage. Prior to joining the station, she was tenured at WWJ-TV CBS ONO in Detroit, as an anchor and served the station for 2 years and 1 month (January 2011 – January 2013). During her time at WWJ-TV CBS ONO, she produced, wrote, and hosted a long-formated weekly community affairs program which paved the way for to her win an Emmy Award.
