She worked as a field anchor during WOIO’s wall-to-wall breaking news broadcast of “Found Alive.” She was drawn toward Cleveland while she was interning at KABC and E! Entertainment Television in Los Angeles. Following her time in Los Angeles, she worked at WNDU in South Bend, WPEC in West Palm Beach, and WSVN in Miami.
Besides journalism, Tucker worked as a competitive ice skater for more than 15 years. She and her skating partner made history as the first African-American ice dancing team. They won a bronze medal at the U.S. National Championships.
