Prior to that, she worked for NBC, MSNBC, and NBC Weather Plus as a National Morning Meteorologist a sa 1 year and 7 months (June 2007 – December 2008). Santos began his meteorology career at WLTX News 19 Columbia, South Carolina as a Meteorologist for 4 years and 5 months (February 2003 – June 2007).
Santos got interested in the weather when he was so young. At first, he wanted to study weather to help with offshore forecasts. When he was 10 years old, he visited ABC 6 in Providence, Rhode Island, and that’s when he first thought about working in TV. Many years later, when he was 24, he went back to that same station as an intern. He says that both weather forecasting and TV work well together because they both bring different challenges every day.
During his spare time, he likes to ski and sail on the New England Coast, since he has been doing that since he was very young. He says that he can’t wait to sail on the incredible rivers and lakes of Western New York! His other hobbies include trying new foods, traveling, and doing outdoor activities.
