After two years, Brannon joined B.J. Sams and Robyn Richardson on the weekday desk, where he was a meteorologist and co-anchor of “THV 11 This Morning.” He then worked on THV11 This Morning with Alyse Eady, Rob Evans, Ashley Blackstone, and Amanda Jaeger .

At the end of 2017, Brannon left THV11 to work in the advertising industry for 3 years. In January 2021, he returned to THV11 as the Chief Meteorologist. He holds a seal of approval from the National Weather Association.

Brannon’s passion and interest in the weather were sparked by the tornado on March 29, 1976, while he was in the third grade. That tornado destroyed everything but downtown Cabot.

Brannon is regarded as the ‘Godfather’ of the THV11 Summer Cereal Drive and is thrilled to work with the Arkansas Foodbank to help feed hungry Arkansas children and families! He has given his time and talents to multiple organizations, including Special Olympics Arkansas, Stuff the Sleigh, and most recently, Methodist Family Health’s Southern Silks.
