Hassan is also known for her philanthropy work, and for starring in episode 7 of season 1 of Netflix’s “My Unorthodox Life”.

When Hassan was 17 years old, a photographer noticed her talent while she was at a park in Canada. After that, she started modeling in Toronto and Vancouver. While living in Vancouver, she also owned a restaurant. Then, in the year 2007, Click Model Management in NYC signed her. That’s when she started walking on fashion runways and doing important photoshoots.
In May 2008, she was chosen as Model of the Week by Model.com. She appeared in Vogue Italia 2 times. The very 1st time was in July 2008, in a special issue called the Black Issue.
