Elliott launched her journalism career in 1992, interning at the CBS station in Green Bay. She then worked her way up to reporter and anchor. Besides TV news, she got a taste of early mornings co-hosting on WIXX Radio with “Murphy in the Morning.”
Elliott joined WISN in Milwaukee, WBAY’S sister station, in 2002. She worked there as an anchor and reporter. She followed the Packers to the Super Bowl and co-hosted with Regis Philbin on his national TV show for a day.
