Before joining WSHM, Carnivale worked for Spectrum Networks as a Multimedia Journalist from August 2021 to June 2023. During her tenure there, she was responsible for providing breaking news coverage and live shots using LiveU. She also served as a fill-in anchor for weekend, statewide shows.

Carnivale previously worked for ESPN as a social and digital video associate producer from January 2019 to July 2021. She first joined the station in July 2017 as a production assistant the role she played up to July 2018. Later Carnivale became the social and digital video content associate until January 2019 when she became the social and digital video associate producer. At ESPN, she edited all necessary videos for Sportscenter @ Night and SC: AM shows. Carnivale also edited shows such as the 2019 NFL Pro Bowl, and the 2018 Boston Red Sox World Series Parade.
