Before her tenure at KCWY, she worked at University Housing Services where she served as a resident advisor from August 2011 to January 2013 at San Jose State University. From June 2004 to January 2013, he worked at RPN Reality where he served as an office assistant. Prior to that, she worked at Update News SJSU where she served as a multimedia journalist in San Jose California. She also interned at KTVU from May 2011 to August 2011 in Oakland, California.
Castillo has also enclosed several stories including the Twin Peaks biker shootout, and the West Fertilizer Plant explosion, and also made contributions to KGO-TV’s live coverage of Baylor University’s alleged sexual assault cases.
