He co-starred in the NBC drama Chase from September 2010 to May 2011, a one-season show about U.S. Marshals who seek down fugitives. On January 3, 2012, he starred in the ABC television series Work It, which aired for only one season. Nolasco starred as Rodrigo Suarez, Ana Sofia’s quirky co-star, and the show’s villain, in the sitcom Telenovela.
He was a supporter of Barack Obama’s presidential campaign. For the second year in a row, Nolasco hosted the Amaury Nolasco & Friends Golf Classic, which took place on June 10–11, 2011 at the El Conquistador Hotel in Fajardo, Puerto Rico. The Amaury Nolasco & Friends Golf Classic is a celebrity golf tournament with all proceeds going to charitable organizations in Puerto Rico. The proceeds from the second season were donated to the University of Puerto Rico Pediatric Hospital and the VAL Foundation (Vive Alegre Luchando).

He starred in the film as Fernando Sucre, portraying a friendship with Michael during his time at Fox River State Penitentiary, where he was his cell-mate. Initially, his character’s story focuses on his wish to reunite with his fiancée. Upon receiving the pilot script, Nolasco’s first thought was that it was “one of those failed pilots that the network did not really want” since most of the series pilots would have started production by that time. Admitting that he does not like to read, Nolasco was amazed that the script was a “huge page-turner”.
Prior to his last audition for the role, Nolasco recalled his nervousness, which grew when Paul Scheuring told him that he was their favorite choice. Subsequently, he was cast in the role. The series revolves around two brothers, Lincoln Burrows (Dominic Purcell) and Michael Scofield (Wentworth Miller); Burrows has been sentenced to death for a crime he did not commit, and Scofield devises an elaborate plan to help his brother escape prison and clear his name.
Amaury Nolasco Transformation
Amaury featured in Transformers a 2007 American science fiction action film based on the toy line of the same name. portraying ACWO Jorge “Fig” Figueroa, with the role of a Special Operations soldier who survives the destruction of the SOCCENT base in Qatar and was also a member of Captain Lennox’s team. The film, which combines computer animation with live-action filming revolves around a teenager who gets caught up in a war between the heroic Autobots and the villainous Decepticons, two factions of alien robots who can disguise themselves by transforming into everyday machinery, primarily vehicles. The Autobots intend to retrieve and use the AllSpark, the powerful artifact that created their robotic race that is on Earth, to rebuild their home planet Cybertron and end the war, while the Decepticons have the intention of using it to build an army by giving life to the machines of Earth.
