Further, she made an appearance in 2015, as a news anchor for Sky One/NBC’s You, Me and the Apocalypse. Previously, she served BBC for more than a decade.
She joined the BBC news team in 1992, after spending four years as the editor of China Economic Review. While she was at BBC, she served as a senior producer in the BBC’s business department. Additionally, she both produced and presented the Business Breakfast program which aired from 6 am to 7 am for three years.
Further, she relocated and served as an anchor for BBC World. Later on, she joined the BBC News 24 station in 1997 and served as its launch business anchor. Not long after, in 1999, she was named as a news anchor and anchored the station’s news from 9 am to 1 pm alongside Philip Hayton.
Furthermore, she was on air when; the announcement of the death of the Queen Mother and the death of Princess Margaret, and as Allied forces began the bombing of Afghanistan. In addition, he also anchored coverage of the aftermath of the 2004 tsunami. She spent about twelve years at BBC.
In 2005, she joined the Sky News team. Additionally, during the announcement of the London bid for the 2012 Summer Olympics, she was on the air. As of June 2012, she was in charge of anchoring the 21:00 to midnight strand from Monday to Thursday, covering for Anna Botting who was on maternity leave.
