He is no stranger to extreme weather, having grown up in Memphis, Tennessee. His interest in meteorology began when he was 14 years old after his village was hit by the 2008 Super Tuesday Tornado Outbreak.
Anthony started his schooling at the University of Memphis (Go Tigers!) where he majored in Communications/Multimedia Journalism and joined the National Association of Black Journalists (NABJ). He then opted to further his broadcasting knowledge by enrolling at Mississippi State University to get a second degree in Geoscience/Meteorology.
While a long way from home, Anthony is looking forward to becoming engaged in the community and bonding with the locals over a shared passion for basketball and fried cuisine that Hoosiers and Memphians share. He enjoys spending his free time in the kitchen, whether it’s creating his world-famous hot wings or baking muffins! Anthony enjoys working out, running, and dabbling in photography when he’s not tracking storms and cooking; he’s also a decent spades partner.
