Benjamin Hall Injury – Ukraine Attack

He was injured on the 14th of March 2022 while reporting on the Russian invasion of Ukraine in 2022 in Ukraine outside of Kyiv. In Horenka, Kyiv Oblast, the car Hall was riding in was assaulted; Hall was wounded in the legs, while Fox war zone photojournalist and Irish citizen Pierre Zakrzewski, 55, was killed. Oleksandra Kuvshinova, a 24-year-old Ukrainian journalist, was also slain in the attack.

He safely returned back to the States and got admitted at a Texas Army hospital. Hall was relocated on Thursday from Landstuhl Medical Center in Germany to Brooke Army Medical Center at Joint Base San Antonio-Fort Sam Houston, according to Fox News Media CEO Suzanne Scott in a memo.

Scott said that the hospital center “is a great medical facility and Ben is receiving wonderful treatment while he recovers from his serious injuries and several surgeries.”

Hall “remains in excellent spirits despite everything he has been through,” she added. In the face of this tragedy, his bravery and resiliency have been nothing short of incredible.”
