Froehlich serves as a morning news anchor for Michigan This Morning at Heritage Broadcasting Company of Michigan in addition to working at WWTV. Earlier, he had worked for Heritage Broadcasting as a reporter from June 2010 to July 2017. Froehlich first joined Heritage Broadcasting as a full-time reporter until 2011 when he became a freelance special reporter, fill-anchor, and series projects until July 2017.

He first joined the station in October 2018 where he started as a news reporter and later in August 2021, he added another role as an assistant news director. While still working for WWTV and Heritage Broadcasting Company, he has also been working for Colonial Life as a benefits counselor and agency representative since April 2019.

Froehlich had previously worked for Abiding Hope as a director of multimedia from June 2017 to February 2018. Froehlich had initially worked for Midwestern Broadcasting as a host, news reporter, and anchor from January 2011 to January 2016. While at Midwestern Broadcasting, he served as a news reporter and afternoon news anchor on WTCM-AM and WTCM-FM. Froehlich was also the host of “The Afternoon Drive” program on WTCM-AM. The program covered stories of interest, local news, community issues, politics, and current events for three hours daily.

Before joining Midwestern Broadcasting, Froehlich served as a news producer, anchor, reporter, writer, and political reporter at WPBN-TV from July 2002 to June 2010. During his tenure here, he represented the company at community events, produced weekend newscasts, and was responsible for a 30-minute newscast twice daily. Froehlich previously worked at KPAX-TV as a News reporter and a fill-in anchor from November 2001 to July 2002. At KPAX-TV, he served as an advisor and mentor of other reporters and assisted the newscast producer in responsibility for daily newscasts.

Prior to joining KPAX-TV, Froehlich worked as a news reporter, and weekend anchor for WLFI-TV from August 1999 to November 2001. During his time there, he also served as the company representative at community events and regularly spoke at local schools. Froehlich started his professional career as a station manager at WGRE-FM from January 1998 to July 1999. While there, he controlled the complete operation of the radio station, and trained staff in all departments.
