Before becoming entertainment columnist for the Chicago Sun-Times, Zwecker was an associate editor and columnist for the Lerner Newspapers from 1987-1992. Previously, he was an entertainment contributor and reporter for WBBM-TV from 2003 to 2006. From 2000-2003, Zwecker was the entertainment reporter and film critic for WFLD-TV. He was the entertainment contributor and film critic for ”The Eric and Kathy Show” on WTMX-FM from 1995-2005.
From 1993-2000, Zwecker was the entertainment reporter and film critic for WMAQ-TV in Chicago. Additionally, Zwecker was a regular contributor to “The Joan Rivers Show” from 1990-1994. Zwecker graduated from Oak Park-River Forest High School and Princeton University. He then attended the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business.
