Additionally, during his tenure at WTKR, as a feature reporter, weekend weathercaster, and live breaking news reporter. In 2010, he was labeled as the morning and Noon newscasts co-anchor. Stewart has been awarded numerous times by the Associated Press, for his newscast producing and exceptional broadcasts.
Additionally, he had been able to cover numerous stories including; nor’easters, snowstorms, and hurricanes. In 2007 he was also quite fortunate and got to spend spending weeks on Virginia’s Tech campus during the mass shooting. Stewart is also a Licensed Loan Originator. Additionally, he is a proud member of The Association of LGBTQ Journalists entitled NLGJA. He enjoys spending his leisure in the kitchen trying out new dishes. He is quite adventurous and likes traveling. Stewart is one of the biggest fans of the Carolina Hurricanes and often tries to support his team.

Blaine Stewart Football Coach
Stewart is part of Mountaineer’s coach staff. There, he was tenured as assistant wide receivers coach and has served the post for 2 years. Between the years 2018 and 2020, he served as a coaching assistant in Pittsburgh. At this point, he had a total of 4 years of NFL experience prior to his Morgantown experience. During his tenure as the Steelers’ coach, they made the playoffs twice and were the AFC North Champions.
Stewart exceptionally coached the three Pro Bowl receivers Antonio Brown, JuJu Smith-Schuster, and later Diontae Johnson. He outstandingly coached the West quarterbacks at the East-West Shrine Bowl and was involved in game planning, practice schedules, and also in all aspects of offensive installation. He covered his collegiate playing career between the years 2013- 2015 at James Madison. Stewart later finalized it at the University of Charleston in 2016 up until 2017. He was awarded two varsity letters at each institution.
