Brown worked in Fort Wayne before coming to Indianapolis. In Fort Wayne, he served WANE from June 2000 to 2007. He started as a production assistant, studio floor director, and Chyron graphics operator before he joined the newsroom as a morning and weekend sports anchor. He also worked as the producer of Midday news for multiple years.
Brown has filled in as a morning show news anchor and did some news feature reports. He also co-anchored ‘Highlight Zone,’ a coverage of high school football and basketball on Friday nights for almost five years.
The Hoosier native started his career in high school when he covered local sports in Northeast Indiana for WIFF radio and TV7 in DeKalb County.
