Brendan Clark Career

Clark since 1995 he calls Lowcountry his home and is a proud graduate of South Carolina University. His career started as a news photographer at WCBD News 2. He worked his way up through the rank and in 1996, he was elevated to weekend sports anchor, a position he held till 2001.

From 2001 to 2008, he served as a sports director. He received various AP awards for his anchoring and reporting. Clark has received the D. Tennant Bryan award for best feature reporting.

In 2008, he moved to the news desk as the evening anchor. His 2015 reports on the Charleston church shooting at Emmanuel AME helped him to win an Emmy award in 2016. During his free time, he likes going in the water with his daughter as well as on the golf course.
