In addition, he has also worked in Lafayette, Louisiana, and after he spent six years on Channel 7 and later on Fox 29/11 TV he became familiar to many Southeast Texans.

At the age of twelve, he spent most of his Saturday mornings playing newsman behind a microphone in a back studio at his dad’s workplace. He began by working in radio for many years and later on he went to television news at Cable News Network in Atlanta. Since he joined the KII newsroom, he has been in front of the camera ever since.
