He is a Muleshoe, Texas native. While he was in his college years, he worked part-time as a disc jockey at local radio stations. His career began in Amarillo later on, he moved to Tyler, Texas, and not long after he was able to secure a job as a co-host along with his brother for a morning show in Oklahoma City.
Together with his brother, they anchored news and forecasted weather in the morning for twelve years. Furthermore, he interviewed Garth Brooks who is a countryside singer when Garth made his TV debut on their morning show. For over fifteen years, he has had experience in weather in the heart of tornado alley and forecasted weather for ABC’s Good Morning America.
In addition, he hosted live feature segments for the Los Angeles CBS affiliate. He has also made appearances in many independent films like; “Humanoids from the Deep” starring Robert Carradine and Emma Samms, “BioDome” starring Stephen Baldwin, “Born Bad” with Corey Feldman and James Remar, “Midnight Blue” with Harry Dean Stanton, and Dean Stockwell.
Most recently, he appeared in Oregon with Bruce Campbell who is his long-time friend. In addition, together with his brother, they wrote and performed “The Legend of Guan-di” which was the theme song. National commercials such as a Super Bowl commercial for Pepsi where he played a sportscaster have also featured him.
