He rejoined the KRIS-TV news team in November 2020, serving as a morning and noon meteorologist. Previously, he served as a meteorologist at USAA, KSAT, and KOSA. Coastal Bend is his native home and attended Orange Grove High School where he graduated in 2003.

From an early age, he loved weather but when category 4 Hurricane Bret hit just north of Corpus Christi in 1999, that was when he made a firm decision to become a meteorologist. He enjoys every minute of the time that he has spent broadcasting but most interestingly, he considers his time with the Texas A&M Forest Service in College Station, Texas as a highlight; a position that he held for a little over a year.

Most notably, he was the first meteorologist to be employed by the state agency in its 100-year history and had the entire responsibility of forecasting for the full state of Texas identifying areas susceptible to additional fire weather potential. On a daily basis, he would forecast local, state, and national officials with the National Weather Service, the Texas Military Department, the Wildlife agency, the Texas Parks, TxDOT, and the United States Forest Service.

As of the moment, he has been forecasting Texas weather for more than ten years striving to produce forecasts that are significant to the communities he serves.
