In around June 2023, Lawson’s fans wondered where she went after a sudden disappearance from her newscasts on News 12 New Jersey. She once explained her disappearance on her Instagram Page, saying that her situation life wasn’t as perfect as it looked on social media. She also said that she suffered from high blood pressure and severe anxiety caused by stress.
In the same post, Lawson stated that the journey of COVID-19 recovery was quite hard for her. During that period, she realized that the free time she had with her family wasn’t as normal as she thought.
