Morgan serves at Action News Jax as a Morning News Anchor. Before joining Action News Jax, she worked for WBTV in Charlotte, North Carolina as a news anchor and reporter for “On Your Side”. Chandler stepped into the Weekend Evening Anchor spot in August 2019, where her passion for anchoring shines when providing the news on the studio anchor desk. In December 2018, Morgan joined the WBTV team, originally as an anchor and reporter for the Warning Center.
Chandler soon moved into the role of Weekend Anchor and Reporter for weekday education, fulfilling her passion for telling stories in the classroom that matter to our children. Chandler has worked to expose a lapse in fingerprinting in the local Charlotte-Mecklenburg School system since joining the team, which ultimately led to the district’s top leader stepping down at the time. She departed from WBTV in December 2021.
Chandler has worked for two years as the Weekend Anchor and weekday reporter for Gray’s sister station, WTVM in Columbus, Georgia. There is 2018, Chandler was part of Hurricane Michael’s Emmy-nominated team coverage. You will find her spending time with her dog, Kiki, at the local parks or painting when Chandler isn’t anchoring or reporting; one of her favorite artistic hobbies!
