She was born and brought up in the suburbs of  Maryland just outside of Washington, D.C and she would spend her summers in Dallas, Texas where her family is from. In addition, since she was a child she has always aspired to be a journalist taking after her father who hosts his own nationally syndicated radio show.

She attended the University of Maryland’s Philip Merrill College of Journalism where she graduated proudly in May 2019. In addition, while in college, she served as an anchor and reporter for Capital News Service which was the award-winning student-run news organization

 She did intern at WJLA’s entertainment news department in Arlington, Virginia in addition to being a student ambassador for Maryland’s football team. Furthermore, she was also a University of Maryland Cheerleading program veteran for four years where she cheered for the football and men’s basketball teams, attended national and regional appearances, and competed at national championships. During her leisure time, she enjoys eating, listening to Ariana Grande on loop, traveling, and shopping.
