Previously, he served AccuWeather as a senior meteorologist for 5 years. He holds the American Meteorological Society Television Seal of Approval.  Not long ago, he worked at AccuWeather, based in State College, Pennsylvania where he served as a senior meteorologist.

While he was there, he did organize and directed weather coverage for The Accuweather Network, which is seen in more than sixty markets and on ABC’s World News currently. He has also worked in r LOCAL 24 (ABC) in Memphis, Tenn where he served as the chief meteorologist.

Williams relocated to Mississippi in order for him to complete bringing up his three daughters and to avoid moving from station to station during their formative years. Furthermore, he has previously worked at KSDK-TV NewsChannel 5 during the massive floods in the early 90s serving as a weekend morning meteorologist.

He began co-anchoring alongside Matt Pencek, and Madeline Overturf on the anchor desk at WRDE-TV in addition to him working closely with WBOC’s Storm Tracker Weather Team.
