Then it was off to the desert of Southern California in Palm Springs, where Chris worked as KESQ (ABC) and CBS Local 2 Sports Director. Chris started his television career in Fresno at KMPH-TV after hanging up baseball cleats.
When coming to his education, he is a grad of Clovis West High School and college baseball at Fresno Pacific University, where he played basketball and baseball. He graduated from the state of Fresno with a Bachelor’s Degree in Mass Media and Journalism with a concentration on broadcasting.
After Palm Springs, he was back in Fresno, where he joined our KFSN-TV sister station. Chris has been working as a Sports Anchor / Reporter, Sports Director, and Fill-In News Anchor for four years. Some of the highlights included the historical turnaround of Fresno State Football, the NCAA berth of Fresno State Basketball in 2016, along with two World Series and the MLB All-Star Game in 2017. Chris spends his spare time working out while he’s not working or watching sports, improving his DJ skills by listening to music, and looking to discover what the Bay Area has to offer.
