After graduating from college, Salcedo started his broadcasting career as a traffic and news anchor at a radio station. He then launched his TV career on XETV, San Diego’s Fox 6, where he broadcast weather news. In his career, he has filled in on the nationally syndicated Glenn Beck, Roger Hedgecock, and Andrea Tantaros radio shows.
Salcedo is among the few meteorologists in the nation to do a hard-hitting story on Social Security. He was an anchor at CBS11/TXA 21, the 5th largest TV market in the nation, in DALLAS/FORT WORTH. Later on, he relocated to Washington, D.C., where he took an anchor position on the nationally syndicated America’s Radio News Network. His book, The Rise of the Liberty-Loving Latino: The New American Revolution, comes out on December 9, 2025.
