From 2016. to 2019, he was a weekday evening anchor in New Orleans. He received two regional Emmy nominations for “Best Evening Newscast” during his time in “Big Easy”. Due to his skills and experiences, he has been able to travel all over the country and all over the world.
He had the opportunity to teach broadcast journalism to selected high school seniors considering broadcast news as a career. He taught them for the Far East Journalism Conference in Seoul, South Korea. Prior to that, he served as a morning and noon anchor for WINK-TV in Fort Myers, Southwest Florida. In addition, he worked for a number of years as an evening anchor and host of Living Dayton, a live lifestyle show in Dayton, Ohio.
He attended the College of Charleston where he received a Bachelor’s Degree in Communication and also an Associate Degree in Radio/TV Broadcasting. He began his television career as an audio director, photographer, full-in traffic anchor, news reporter, and production assistant. On the 11th season premiere of the American Idol, he was dubbed “Ryan Seacrest’s Doppelgänger”. This is one light moment that many may remember him for.
He had the opportunity to host the Miss Illinois State competition four times while he worked for the Miss America Organization. In addition, he also was privileged to serve in Atlanta, Georgia as a guest judge for the Miss Capital City competition. He has had a strong passion to engage and connect with people, and he carries this desire on stage. During the Orlando Suncoast Regional Emmy Awards in 2018, he served as a presenter. He has been honored several times to be an
emcee at different events for charitable organizations, including the Make-A-Wish Foundation, the National MS Societ, the American Cancer Society, and the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. He lives in New York City.
