While serving as a meteorologist, he has covered six hurricanes- Danny, Katrina, Irma, Katrina, and Earl, winter storms, a dust storm in the Central Valley of California, one on Valentine’s Day 2000 & the other on January 22, 2017, and two deadly tornado outbreaks.
His career in television began at WJHG in Panama City and then in Tallahassee. After residing for a number of years in Mesopotamia, he relocated back to Memphis, and not long ago he freelanced at WPTV the NBC affiliate in West Palm Beach, Florida. During his leisure time, he enjoys SEC Football, gardening, and music.
