He has covered central Ohio sports for over sixteen years and during this time he’s been in press boxes from Tuscon to Raleigh, Pasadena to the Meadowlands where he covered the beloved Buckeyes on game day, and beyond the game for events like the crowning of two Heisman Award winners: Eddie George, and Troy Smith.

Ohio State football is his prime responsibility every fall. During this time, he can be seen on WSYX on the field for pre-game and post-game coverage of the Emmy Award-winning. Additionally, he sets the scene for one of the greatest traditions in college football regardless of the fact whether he is on the road or in the Shoes.

From 2001 to 2010, WSYX/FOX28 was named by the Association Press as the Best Sports Operations. In 2003, a regional Emmy Award was awarded to the sports team and Hall for pre-game coverage of the OSU Michigan game. On ABC 6 he takes viewers to “Beyond the Game” on weeknights =s at 6 pm, whereby he introduces viewers to athletes and sporting events and special stories of the human spirit’s triumph over adversity. In a Buckeye golf outing on the same course, he won a few bucks from ABC’s Brent Musberger.

When coming to his education, he attended Upper Arlington High School where he graduated and took OSU Scarlet Course as a teen. During his leisure time, he enjoys watching his three sons play and trying to keep up with his loyal black Labrador, Mojo. To this day, he is a great sports fan even away from work. Getting Pat to say “I do” in 1982, remains his greatest accomplishment to date.
