He has worked for stations in Chattanooga, Tennessee; Pittsburg, Kansas; and Northwest Arkansas (Fayetteville and Fort Smith).
Boone’s passion for Meteorology began when he was in grade 3. Growing up, he used to watch Jim Giles on TV and aspired to be like him. He began his career in the year 1997 when he served at WDEF-TV in Chattanooga, Tennessee as a Meteorologist for 3 years. His first internship was at News On 6.

It is so unfortunate that Boone passed away. He died on a Sunday, February 6, 2022. His death was confirmed by his daughter when he posted a few pictures of her father with his grandchildren on Facebook on the 6th of February. Boone’s cause of death is unknown at the moment.
