Her duties include analyzing and interpreting numerical weather data through the use of model output, radar, METAR, satellite, and sensors. She also participated in community outreach events to promote weather safety and awareness created outreach materials and presented at schools and local events.
She collaborated with fellow meteorologists, 5 local National Weather Service offices, emergency management, and the Department of Transportation to produce and streamline forecasts being sent out to the public along with improving communication strategies.
Prior to working at WZTV, she was a meteorologist at WPBN-TV Sinclair Broadcasting between August 2014 and March 2017. While at WPBN-TV, she collaborated with 3 National Weather Service offices to prepare forecasts and streamline communication across the state. In addition to that, she participated in community outreach events to promote weather safety and awareness.
From April 2014 and August 2014, she worked at ABC5 TV as a temporary meteorologist. During her time there, she worked alongside other meteorologists during severe weather events to get information out to the public and appropriate personnel. In addition to that, she presented the forecast on various multimedia platforms with severe weather coverage as needed. She also researched and recorded meteorological data daily from observing weather and attended functions and conferences to promote the station.
