He completed his undergraduate studies amidst the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020, earning a B.A. in English with Maryland certification in secondary education from Mount St. Mary’s University in Emmitsburg, Maryland. Collin was actively involved in the university’s NCAA Division I Cross Country and Track & Field teams during his time there.
Preferring to pursue his passion for storytelling over remote teaching, Collin pursued journalism school at the University of Maryland College Park, where he graduated with a Master of Journalism in Broadcast.
