Shone serves as the co-anchor of Good Morning Arizona alongside Tess Rafols from 4:30 am – 6 am weekdays. Apart from this role, she also provides reports out in the community. Prior to joining Arizona Family, he worked at KOB4 where he served as the morning news anchor and investigative reporter from November 2015 till his departure in July 2022 in Albuquerque, New Mexico. While at KOB4, he was in charge of anchoring the morning show from 4:30 a.m. to 7:00 a.m. and was also part of the Investigative Unit.

From October 2013 to October 2015, he worked at KOLD 13/Tucson News Now where he served as the anchor of the 5:30 pm/10 pm weekend newscasts for KOLD News 13 (CBS); also the hour-long 9 p.m. newscast on FOX 11. In addition to these roles, he also served as a fill-in anchor of the AM Newscasts on KOLD/FOX; and KOLD News 13 Live at Noon.

He previously worked at KPHO- A Meredith Corporation where he served as the lead breaking news reporter and general assignment reporter for the 5/6:30 and 10 pm newscasts. Prior to that, he worked at Navajo Times where he served as a freelance reporter from January 2009 till his departure in December 2012 in Phoenix, Arizona.

From July 2010 to September 2011, he worked at Eight, Arizona PBS where he served as a special projects reporter. Previously, he worked at KTAR-FM where he served as an anchor and reporter for about 3 years and 9 months.

While there, he anchored the evening and weekend newscasts. He also served as a Live, breaking, general assignment reporter. He previously worked at ABC Radio where he enclosed national stories in the Phoenix metropolitan area.
