During the week, she serves as a reporter. She reports on issues such as suicide awareness, homelessness, foster care, trafficking, and domestic violence. As of the moment, she has an ongoing series called Loving in Fear covering the rampant domestic violence problems in Bexar County.
She is able to give survivors a voice, highlight resources, and hold government and nonprofit agencies accountable for necessary changes. She has also covered major stories including; Ft. Hood, Santa Fe, the shootings in Sutherland Springs, and Hurricane Harvey. Furthermore, for her reporting on a tornado that tore through Floresville, Texas in 2015 she received a Houston Press Club award.
In addition, her career started in 2010 whereby she worked at KYTX CBS 19 in Tyler, Texas where she served as an anchor and reporter.
