Sandlin serves at WISN 12 News as a weekend evening news anchor, appearing on the 5:30 PM and 10 PM newscasts every Sunday, and 5 PM, 6 PM, and 10 PM newscasts every Saturday. Also, she serves the station as a weekday news reporter. Sandlin worked as a morning anchor for “Morning Break” (a lifestyle show) at WTOC-TV in Savannah, Georgia, for nearly 11 years (from September 2011 to July 2022), prior to joining WISN-TV.
Before that, she was a Production Assistant at NBC News in New York from June 2011 to August 2011, for 3 months. She also served as a Multimedia Journalist and Anchor at KOMU-TV and as an Anchor at Newsy, both roles she held from 2010 to 2011. In 2010, she worked as a Production Assistant at Thomson Reuters. Earlier in her career, she was an On-Air General Assignment Reporting Intern at WEEK-TV from June 2009 to August 2009, for 3 months, and a Reporter at KBIA 91.3 FM in 2009. While in college, she worked for Thomson Reuters TV News. Upon graduation from college, she became an International Radio TV Society Foundation Fellow.
When working at WTOC-TV, Sandlin became a nominee for an Emmy Award – for “Best Morning Newscast” in the Southeast. Also, the Georgia Associated Press honored her with the “Best Newscast 2018” award. In the middle of the coronavirus pandemic, Sandlin served as a host of a Mon-Fri Facebook live program that connected the audience with local medical experts. Additionally, she served as a host of primetime specials discussing the challenges faced by individuals of color during that period of COVID-19. Sandlin also had a face-to-face interview with Kamala Harris (then-Vice President-elect).

She served as a board member for the Savannah Music Festival and the Telfair Museums for 5 years (from January 2016 to January 2021).
