After that show ended, he made appearances on different shows like “Once and Again”, “The Practice”, “The Division”, and “Snoops”. In the last season of JAG, he had a small part as an FBI agent named Rod Benton. He also had a main role for a year (2002-2003) in the final season of “Buffy the Vampire Slayer”, where he played Robin Wood, who was the Principal of Sunnydale High School.

After that, he portrayed the pragmatic character Wayne Palmer, in the Fox series “24”. There he was introduced in the 3rd season and later returned as a guest star in the show’s fifth season for episodes 1-2 and 14-18.
