Previously, she was in Erie, Pennsylvania, working for WJET-TV(an ABC-affiliated) as a fill-in anchor/producer, as well as a general assignment reporter. There, she covered record snowfalls and the cold, and many more. Her favorite story that she has ever covered while at WJET is the story of a teenager’s death after having an epileptic seizure. Before going to WJET, she was working for Eyewitness News Local WEHT WTVW in Washington D.C. Metro Area. She spent 2 months there working as a Reporter.

Woods has been passionate about weather since she was young. She aspired to be a reporter when she was a kid. She and her mother would watch the news every morning before going to school. She is now happy to achieve her aspiration.
