From when Sotis was only 10 years old, he knew he wanted to be on radio as an anchor and when he was 12 years old, he got a part-time job at a food warehouse and was also an afternoon paper route. Dimitri used all the money he earned to purchase an audio mixer, a microphone, speakers, and two turntables and made a studio in his basement. Sotis went on air from his studio every afternoon when he came home from school. In the evening at five o’clock he would watch WKRP in Cincinnati reruns.
