He serves as a correspondent and an anchor for World Sport, at the network’s world headquarters. Currently, he serves at the network’s International as the host of World Sport. Being part of the network’s versatile anchors to have featured Living Golf which is the network’s long-running feature show as well as the network’s news programs CNN Today and World News.
Riddell also covered the network’s documentary World Sports Presents: They’ll Never Walk Alone and also reported on the Hillsborough football disaster and the truth and justice long campaign. The documentary later won a silver medal for being the most recognized and powerful film at the New York Festivals. Having been identified by the Independent Television Commission in 1998, as part of the youngest achievers, Riddell was invited to Buckingham Palace to meet the Queen.
