However, the stories she loves best are those that include individuals who beat the odds, that make people smile and, give a glimmer of hope.
Over the years in her career, she has received awards including a Mark of Excellence Award from the Society of Professional Journalists, and a Michigan Association of Broadcasters award. Additionally, she was named Best TV Personality by the Holland Sentinel.
