Prior to that, she worked for WJAC-TV in Johnstown, Pennsylvania as a news reporter and weekend anchor for four years (from January 2015 to December 2018).
Stanish served at 21 WFMJ TV for four months, from September 2014 to December 2014. as a General Assignment Reporter before going to WJAC. That was actually where she began her journalism career. While in college, she served at WJXT-TV Channel 4 News as an intern from May 2014 to August 2014. Also, she served at Clear Channel Radio on a Student Internship for nearly half a year.
While at KOKH-TV, she covered many stories such as the coronavirus pandemic, a dilapidated county jail, and the homeless population in Oklahoma City.
