Her journalism career began at Hearst Television Inc’s sister station WPTZ-TV where she served as a general assignment reporter before she was promoted to serving as an anchor.

Later on, in 1998, she moved west, taking over for the retiring Dina Eastwood, and anchoring alongside Dan Green. Washington, DC is her native home. She attended Glenbard West High School before leaving the Midwest for college and eventually California. While serving as an anchor at KSBW 8, she has covered numerous stories and events such as three United States Open Golf Championships, Big Sur marathons, political rallies for presidential contenders, Climate Change Summit, wildfires, and, a royal visit.
