Before WLEX, Schutz worked in Helena Montana at KTVH as a reporter, anchor, and producer for two years. There, she covered wildfires, a presidential run, and lots of cows. She served KFBB ABC FOX Montana for two years as a reporter before joining KTVH.
At the age of 10, Schutz developed a family newspaper. Ultimately, she joined her high school’s live morning show, “The Olympian Flame,” and discovered that people got money for doing this. She made that dream job her reality 10 years later. She is thrilled to live in Lexington and share the region’s stories.
