While there, he conducted live segments with guests on morning news broadcasts.

Before joining Nexstar Media Group, Inc., Fred served as a Meteorologist for Cox Media Group from May 2014 to August 2015. Previously, he served as a Chief Meteorologist at WLNE-TV from November 1998 to August 2012.
