She began as a freelancer at WPXI. Before joining WPXI, she worked for WTKR-TV in Norfolk, Virginia as a news anchor/reporter from December 2012 to December 2016. During her academic years, DeLuca had the opportunity to intern at WPXI-TV in 2010 and at WTAE in 2009.
After completing her education, DeLuca embarked on her professional career. She started as a TV News Reporter/Fill-In Anchor at WLUC, where she reported daily packages for newscasts from November 2011 to December 2012. This experience honed her reporting skills and gave her valuable on-air experience.
Over the years of her career, she has reported on many stories such as the lethal murder of 2 WDBJ journalists. During her leisure time, she likes to try new outdoor activities such as dog sledding and snowmobiling, or even explore the UP.
